Texoma - Buried Underwater

The Great Red River has been flowing the Southern United States  giving and keeping life to many people and things.  Untouched for Millions of years.

As time went by and the United States was born, it became the border between Texas and Oklahoma. 

Until WWII, in the name of flood control, it was decided that damming up the Red River with the Denison Dam, would solve a lot of flooding problems.  Little did they know back in the day that it create a series of strange and wonderous tales that no one would have ever dreamed.
